I've been making an assortment of cards this past week. Some I made were pop up cards with the Harry Potter theme. So many people still enjoy Harry Potter and I always sell out of my HP makes.
I also had a customer order for an 80th Birthday card for the customer's Godfather this week.
The brief was a home cinema/ film theme as the gentleman built a home cinema in his home.
As I didn't have any pre-printed material for this theme, I created the graphics myself*. It was a lengthy process especially making the pleats in the curtains but I like the overall finish and the customer was pleased which is the main thing.
The image below shows some of the step-by-step stages of how I made up the scene. A lot aren't shown because there are too many very similar steps.
*I created all of the graphics myself except the popcorn itself which I had from an online file.
