I want to share a recent custom order I received for two boxed 50th Birthday cards. The detail was to be centred around the recipient's long-time love of motorbikes and all things mystical.
Luckily I had a motorbike design recently delivered so was able to create a stardust effect motorbike and to still keep it a little bit "girly", the overall colours in pinks and purples, with just a hint of "metal" coming through from behind.
The silver metal theme was added to the numbers and behind the letters of her name.
Both the motorbike and the lettering were mounted onto a band of clear acetate forming a bowed 3-dimensional detail on the card.
The second card was from the recipient's daughter so of course, the text had to read "Mum". Like the motorbike, I had only recently acquired the wolf design and created a cut out shadowed with black card. This was mounted onto a full layer of clear acetate which itself had black flowers embossed onto it along the bottom edge.
Of course, the moon was a must for a wolf to howl to and the flying vector of the bird finished the card design.
Both cards had printed inserts that matched the front card design.
I will be at Beaumaris each Sunday now until the end of August and this week will be the first week I shall be selling my handmade Room fragrance sprays. I have been making and selling these for years online and locally and they are very popular. They are alcohol-free and long-lasting scents.
